#VO stands for Volunteer Organizer. It is a mobile application which connects volunteers and organizers of activities from all over the world.
Remember the early days of mass movement of refugees towards Europe? When there was a huge need for international aid organizations on Greek Islands and on the Balkan route?
When governments and well-known international organizations were incapable of providing even the basic services to them? Remember how all of us felt helpless while we desperately wanted to do something? Remember how hard it was to prepare to go there personally or with a small group of friends? Do you remember those first thoughts that had come into your minds about how to organize like-minded people? Even finding people with the kind of expertise that your small group needed was hard. Informing your friends in different countries and all the other activists all around the world who might have been interested to join you about your mission was like a dream. We at codename:Act are working on a solution to tackle all those problems.
How it works?
Volunteers/Activists sign-up and join the different causes based on their interests and skills or simply join the activities where the help is most needed.
Organizers create causes, projects or events and announce it globally and invite Volunteers/Activists to join.
